Well there really isn't much to say that I haven't already said.
I am still quilting. Its still raining. The dogs are still "the dogs". The kids are still playing "nintendo like stuff" ( you would think they had roots in their butts! sticking them to the couch)
BUT - we had a great time at the wedding seeing everyone. I felt a teeny bit bad about not being able to go to the reunion, but I go nearly every year. Auntie Billie told me that she wanted to nominate me for pres next year, but didn't because I wasn't there! Whoa, missed that one!! LOL really OL! Then, when Billie had to introduce herself to Jo I felt like WHOOPS. I guess I had forgotten that they had never been introduced.
OK - and lets forget the rocks thing...I mean really Carrie!
I told CR I wanted to go to West for my birthday. So we did and saw a few bears, elk and bison. Michael, James and I hiked to the top of Mammoth. (we actually went on Friday, the 19th).
It was a good day....
Saturday was the wedding. And if I do say so myself - I think the cakes turned out alright even if I had black fingers!
Sunday, we fed 15 fellers for dinner.....Monday was recoup day....Now I have to go bake my birthday cake!

Hmm, not much to report. Just a sore fingertip. Paper piece quilting is not for whimps. tehe. My sewing machine is feeling very left out. I think I heard the seamer ripper and sewing machine talking about me behind my back....I mean really, would they do that? I do have to report the 4 pounds of licorice is slowly disappearing. And yes its red...soooo good. UMM.
Have I told anyone here, that I am going to start another quilt??? 140 six inch squares...by hand!!
Dad has the garden growing and is slowly (laughing here) getting the huge pile of branches done. I think Jaron must have had fun whacking away. When he gets back, maybe I can talk him into taking out some trees....haha.

Remember when Michael used to participate in fencing after school? Well a friend of his got skewered last Friday at fencing club. He had his left and right brachial arteries and aortic artery cut; not severed but enough that he had a pint of blood left in him by the time the ambulance got to the HS. He had 15 pints put in him and put in coma over the weekend. Awful, eh? Poor kid that did the sword job!!
