I won't share each block I make but this one I will. It was tough. I didn't think it looked complicated when I started it. But this one alone took me nearly five hours....I had to unpick so many times I finally had to laugh on the last unpicking...whats the point in getting upset? Anyway...this block makes #20

Progress on my 140 block quilt....each one is six inches!! Fun to do. I just don't have a lot of time.
We are having more grandbabies!! Jaron and Becky are due around Halloween with their first little girl!! WHOOHOO! Abe and Kayla are expecting a girl in January, a New's Year baby perhaps? And Isaac and Becky are expecting their first baby in April? We are excited to find out what it will be!!!
I did another round of grated zucchini - 16 quarts this time for the freezer. And I made 8 bottles of taco sauce with green tomatoes!!
We had a rough start to the school year for James. Maybe it was because life at the time was not going to smooth around here. But it seems like the waves are stilling. Whew.
I could post pictures of quilt blocks but who wants to see them? I think my kids are getting tired of my quilting! tehe...OK, so I'm gonna go sew now!!!

This is the quilt center I made while CR and the boys were off to Nauvoo a few weeks ago. I finally took time to photo and post it.

Jenna was sitting in the grass watching all the action. She got splashed a few times. So we took off her clothes and plopped her in the middle of gramps lap. I think the steam went out of Katelyn at that point. (This was taken after the laying back picture.)

Grandpa and Katelyn decided it was too hot on Saturday and played in the pool for awhile. Grandpa had to be reminded to not drown the poor kid. Actually Katelyn did a pretty good job of handling all the water in the face and head. She even got gramps a few times with her cup. It was a hoot to watch them. Finally grampa chilled back for a moment. Katelyn did have her arms behind her head but I didn't snap the picture quick enough to catch it.
